ECF 2023 annual report presents their network’s key achievements over the past year, new learnings to catalyse collective impact, and their vision for the future. 2023 not only tested their resilience but also underscored the critical importance of their mission, amid heightened political polarisation, a worrying resurgence of populism, and profound geopolitical upheaval. Despite the mounting array of challenges they face, their network showed remarkable dedication, inventiveness, and agility in continuing to drive ambitious climate action.
As part of this, ECF focus on the economic sectors that are critical to the climate transition. Thanks to the generous support of their donors, they act as a field catalyst for climate action in Europe and across the globe. ECF centre their work on learning, adapting an approach in response to new developments, and supporting their partners in building their own capacities.
