New BPIE online survey: how the building sector can mitigate climate change

The Directive on the Energy Performance of Buildings (EPBD) defines the goal to “decarbonise the building stock” by 2050. BPIE has launched an online survey to gather opinions and ideas how this could be achieved.

23 March 2018

The survey is part of a project of the European Climate Foundation which aims to examine non-linear decarbonisation pathways in 4 key emitting sectors: mobility, power, buildings and land-use, BPIE writes. The consultation aims to engage a selected multi-disciplinary panel of experts from across the EU, to share thoughts on the factors affecting the transition to a net zero carbon emission economy in the EU by 2050.
